OAR FM Dunedin is a vibrant, not-for-profit station, hosting programmes by, for and about our local communities. We broadcast from Dunedin on 105.4FM and 1575AM, and stream live and podcast from this website.
We are proud to provide the facilities, training and infrastructure that allow citizens to make their own radio shows and podcasts.
Our aim is to provide the diverse range of groups and individuals that make up the fabric of our society with a voice – encouraging participation, information sharing and involvement in community life. This guarantees listeners a fascinating blend of information, opinion and debate, along with an ad-free, entertaining mix of jazz, soul, blues, reggae and world music that includes the work of many talented New Zealand and local artists.
As part of the network of 12 Community Access stations nationwide, we exist to provide you with opportunities to get involved in making, supporting or sponsoring programmes aimed at Dunedin and Otago listeners.
