Get the inside scoop from students of the University of Otago’s 2024 Science Academy.
The Otago University Science Academy recruits potentially high achieving science students from rural/provincial, small, kura and lower decile schools all across New Zealand.
At the January camp students attend four evening workshops at the end of which they have a first crack at a very short (3-5min) podcast with minimal research time.
The podcasts labelled `January’ below are these first attempts. The longer podcasts are those they have worked on between January and July camps on top of a full year of NCEA study.
Science Academy podcast tutors for 2024 are Arina Aizal, Domi Angelo-Laloli, and assisted by Alba Suarez Garcia.
Listen in as they share their favourite aspects of science.
