Fa’atauaina o Aiga
Jan 22 @ 10:00 pm – 11:00 pm

Fa'atauaina_OrgBrought to you from Plains FM in Christchurch

“Faatauaina o Aiga” or in English “Focus on the Family” came about from the concern in our hearts for people dealing with family problems in the community.

For Samoans, the church is always closely related to general life. This is therefore a significant point in the structure of our programme. We do not separate faith and living, and so we have kept faith aspects together with the many topics of family, social, health and general life which have been discussed. Issues include the different roles in families, child abuse, family violence,  suicide, asthma, alzheimers, and disabilities.

We started broadcasting from 2002 and we are still going strong. We produce our own programmes independantly from home each week.

Our motto – “For evil to flourish, the only thing the good people do is nothing.”

If you need encouragement, a boost in self esteem, something positive for you and your family, listen in. Every Friday from 3pm. This programme is produced by the Faatauaina o Aiga family.
