If you or your organisation have an idea for a programme, we’re here to help you make it happen. It’s a great way of sharing your interests, your issues, your culture and your music with the wider community – and it’s a lot of fun! We can give you the technical training you’ll need, and tips on how to make your show the best it can be. The cost for airtime is kept low through the support we receive from New Zealand On Air, so making a show represents great value as a communication medium.
Everyone who wants to broadcast their own programme on Otago Access Radio needs to be a member of the Otago Community Broadcasters’ Society. The Society supports the station and represents the interest of programme makers, so all new members are welcomed into the wider network of people who have a shared interest in community broadcasting.
